On the bright side, we'll enjoy the new swim-up bar
Things are finally progressing with the purchase of the Ruby house. Now that the price is settled and the papers/addendums have all been signed and returned, we are officially in escrow!
I just have to say, though, how grateful we are for God's timing. If we'd had our way, we would have been in the house several weeks ago and would now be dealing with our first repair.
We don't know how long it had been going, but when we went to the house to do some measuring last Saturday, we could hear water running. Sure enough, the main water pipe had burst, and water was gushing all through the basement.
Luckily those rooms are unfinished concrete, but had we been there, not only would we have had to pay for repairs, but we would have had stuff in storage down there...ugh. I don't even want to imagine!

But, because the selling bank dragged their feet, the repairs are their responsibility. Phew! The inspection will take place next week, and we're going to make sure that everything is fixed, cleaned up and dry.
Closing is scheduled for March 10th, and we'll have 10 days to be moved and out of our apartment. My mom already had a ticket to come on the 14th, so it's perfect timing for her to help.
Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers. Please continue to pray that the inspection will go well tomorrow (Tuesday) and that the rest of the process will go smoothly!

Wow! I think the last pictures I saw of Gideon he was only about a year or so old! Time flies! What a handsome boy he is!
Justin has shared a little of the softball lineup matchmaking he did with you and your hubby. Very cute story! It's neat to see how well it worked out!
Well, it's been almost a month, what's going on with the house, Roz-Moes-from-the-Cosmos?
